Through the 1000 layers project we come in touch with the multiple identities within an individual, discovering the many layers that shape us. The young people of Cyprus have a great need to discover, come in touch and be aware of the many identities that are shaped both by the past and the present.
Partnering up with the specific organisations gives us the chance to explore tools that address the subject of identity and apply the methodology in local context. Exploring the dynamic effect that Forum theatre brings to the table, in our partners meeting in Paris/France, we finally get together to experiment, practise critical and creative thinking and get ready to share with the young people in Cyprus. Breaking out of comfort zones, we realise how effective art can be to build critical thinking and make an impact.
